For large-scale spaces and feature walls, ARTIST+CO. also specialises in custom commissioned artwork. Our team works with you to develop a creative brief and concept, then creates bespoke original artwork that can be purchased or placed on a flexible 12 month art lease agreement.

Our Story
Artist+Co. was founded with a simple belief: original art has the power to transform everyday spaces and the lives of the people who reside in them.
Workplaces can be dull, uninspiring, and disconnected from the people who spend most of their day there. We set out to change that by making beautiful, local, original art accessible to businesses in a way that is easy, affordable, flexible, and entirely hassle free.
Our Art Rental service allows businesses to elevate their environment while enjoying practical benefits:

While creating this service for businesses, we also recognised a parallel challenge faced by artists. Exhibiting work is costly. Marketing is time consuming. Storage and logistics between shows are difficult. And most importantly, sustaining a reliable income from art alone is incredibly hard.
Artist+Co. was designed to support artists just as much as businesses, at no cost to the Artist. Through our revenue share model, artists receive a percentage of the monthly rental revenue from their works, creating a consistent income stream that supports their ongoing creative practice.

Environmental: ARTIST+CO. contributes to a circular economy through the ongoing rotation and reuse of artwork. Rather than artwork becoming redundant or discarded when a client’s needs change, works can be returned to the rental pool and placed with new clients, extending their useful life and reducing waste. Where appropriate, existing materials can also be repurposed or incorporated into new artworks, further supporting resource efficiency and creative reuse.
Social and Community: ARTIST+CO. supports the Queensland arts community through a revenue share model that provides participating artists with 30% of rental revenue each month. This creates an ongoing and sustainable income stream, helping artists maintain their creative practice and strengthening the long-term viability of the local creative sector.
