Artist+Co. is an online art platform championing local Queensland artists and connecting their work with businesses and collectors through flexible art purchase and monthly art hire. Specialising in large-scale contemporary, abstract and modern artworks, Artist+Co. makes original art accessible while supporting sustainable creative careers.
Founded by artists, for artists, Artist+Co. exists to elevate the local creative community. Through curated collections, rotating art hire programs and tailored solutions for commercial spaces, businesses can support Queensland artists while transforming their environments with impactful original art.
Alongside its online platform, Artist+Co. hosts regular art shows and curated events across Brisbane throughout the year, bringing artists, collectors and businesses together to celebrate and invest in local creativity.
Our Story
Artist+Co. was founded with a simple belief: original art has the power to transform everyday spaces and the lives of the people who reside in them.
Workplaces can be dull, uninspiring, and disconnected from the people who spend most of their day there. We set out to change that by making beautiful, local, original art accessible to businesses in a way that is easy, affordable, flexible, and entirely hassle free.
Our Art Rental service allows businesses to elevate their environment while enjoying practical benefits:

While creating this service for businesses, we also recognised a parallel challenge faced by artists. Exhibiting work is costly. Marketing is time consuming. Storage and logistics between shows are difficult. And most importantly, sustaining a reliable income from art alone is incredibly hard.
Artist+Co. was designed to support artists just as much as businesses, at no cost to the Artist. Through our revenue share model, artists receive a percentage of the monthly rental revenue from their works, creating a consistent income stream that supports their ongoing creative practice.
